Tifnit is a small fishing village about 50km south of Agadir. The village is a traditional fishing village which still practices age old fishing methods.
With a wide bay area, there are good surf opportunities for the more energetic, or beautiful walks along the coast. The scenery is unspoilt and a beautiful place to experience. Just behind the village there are huge sand dunes running for 15km that you can trek through – a stunning sight and incredible experience.
The area also has some ancient cave dwellings right on the edge of the sea where people live off the sea – a great chance to see age-old traditions of living.
You can also enjoy fresh fish straight from the day’s catch for lunch, all while sitting on the beachfront to enjoy the meal and clear views of the ocean – a unique experience.
